How to Update Wavlink AC1200 Firmware?

  • Connect Your Extender and Router

To begin with, create a wired connection between your Wavlink AC1200 extender and the main router with the help of an Ethernet cable. However, avoid using a damaged Ethernet cable and remember the golden rule of establishing a finger-tight Ethernet connection.

Just in case you don’t like wires, you can also take the aid of a wireless source to connect your devices. The only thing you need to ensure is that your WiFi devices are neither placed adjacent to each other nor too far. It is because too less distance can result in a clash of WiFi signals whereas your devices won’t be able to communicate properly if the distance is too much.

  • Open a Web Browser

The moment you are done establishing the extender-router connection, switch on your computer. In case you don’t have a computer, consider using a laptop. However, the device you are using to update the Wavlink AC1200 firmware must be free of viruses.

  • Upload the Firmware File
